As you guys seen from the title, i will be reviewing L'oreal EverSleek ( shampoo & condition only ) and Elseve; Extraordinary Oil on today's blog post heheh. I really wanted to do review on EverSleek last month but i didn't because i bought the oil to try out not long ago about nearly 2 months ago as NTUC was selling a travel size. If it was good, i really want to blog it together like save time? So yuppp~ here it is!
Disclaimer : this post is not sponsored. I just want tell you guys about this 2 really great products that's all. ( Sorry if some parts are weird because maybe having a little brain dead in the middle )
I have quite a lot of hair problems, the most major thing that i worry about is my oily hair ( its not a lot but like quite little ) For example, you can see it from the top of the hair that are near my roots. Depending on the weather and my classes, i can have like oily hair the day after my yesterday wash most likely. Besides having oily hair, I have dry ends ( which tangle really easily ) , fizz hair, and i drop quite a lot of hair ( even though, i drop quite a lot. My hair is still very thick actually )
I was previously using Sunsilk; Hair fall solution. It was good but till i saw Tried and Tested episode on L'oreal Sulfate Free Shampoos. They said like due to the sulfate ( which can be found in your detergent or the soap that is used for mopping * shock face emoji * ) in shampoo, its the reason that costs your dry hair? I stopped using my old shampoo ( yes, it contains sulfate that why i stopped ) when i bought L'oreal, EverSleek which is specialise for fizz hair. They have more, like EverPure; for coloured hair , EverStrong; for weak and thin hairs and many more!
( cr. Clicknetwork, click here for video )
The shampoo smells really nice, like baby shampoo? The conditioner has this really strong a milky smell which i don't like ( but still it maybe nice for you, go to your nearest supermarket or convenient shop like wastons and etc and smell it hahah ) and i don't use it anymore now but my old one which is yes, sunslik one. Yes, you can use different kind of conditioner with the shampoo ( or the opposite ) that you are using, but if you are scare to mix it up like different brand shampoo and conditioner then don't do it ( Not responsible for it if something happen ok? Just warning y'all * laugh-cry emoji * ).
To say now i have been using this shampoo for nearly 1 and a half years, i really see my hair improving like it's not that fizz then the past year.
( Before i use L'oreal; EverSleek )
( After i used, p/s : without oil and yes i do wear glasses )
You can see that it's not that fizz anymore and after the wash and drying the hair, i can feel my hair has volume like i no need like put dry shampoo or etc. Ohyaa! totally forgotten to say i actually have really sensitive scalp like if i use shampoo not is not suitable for me, my scalp will be reallyyy itchy and i will start scratching. So if you have sensitive scalp like me, maybe give this a try~
Moving along, to my next product reviews. As you guys know already that i have oily hair and because of it, i have been alway scare to put like oil related hair product on it because i scare it might weight down my hair or it can be seen grease from outside.
A few months ago, Tried and Tested, ShuAn (yes, again) did a video on it, She went out to the streets and ask random strangers to testing if after put on the oil, will it be greases? ( ShuAn tested it by giving them a blotting paper after putting on ) I was amazed that there's no residue or stickiness after putting. So like i saw their travel size bottle, and i bought it because i don't want waste money on the normal bottle ones in case its not suitable ( nearly $20+, when the small one was for $9+ )
When i just started using it, i only put after i finish my make up and i will put on my ends because who want oily hands when u do make up? * laugh-cry emoji * Only till recently, i saw Guy Tang video on him dying bunny hair aka grav3yardgirl on youtube. He puts oil before drying bunny hair, so i was like why not i try it the next time? When i try it, omgg my hair is not fried after blow drying like last time. Here are some photos to let you see :
( Right after drying, with oil )
You can see that my end are not really dry anymore and my hair has like a shiny too. Also it doesn't weight down your hair on sunny days too because if you blow dry your hair with the oil properly, there will not be any residue ( unless you pump out quite a lot and put it on, of course ah ) even if you put it after your hair dry, there should be any residue as it's a lightweight oil that can be absorbed easily. I do admit that the product is really good that i only left half a bottle of it left actually hahahh~
If you are interested in purchasing this product, you can mostly find it in your nearest supermarket, department stores and etc. Prices are :
Sulfate collection are $14.90 and above ( depending on the product )
Elseve; Extraordinary Oil is $23.90 ( full size ) $9+ ( travel size, I'm not should if they still have as it was the first time of me seeing a travel bottle because mostly its big bottles only? )
- if you are wondering which size to buy, i can give a tip is my hair is medium-long length. All i need is just 3-6 drops of it when blow drying with it and lasted quite long like its nearly 2 months and i just left with half a bottle. Do notice that the bottle is glass too, so if * touchwood * drop it, money fly.
Thanks for reading, huggies.
